Frances (The Cat)

The main character is named after my crazy cat Frances!  She adopted me for sure.  When I was really down and needed a friend,  this girl just followed me home! She even tried to help me write this book by laying on the keyboard.  Thanks Frances!    

I loved the series of 'Arthur' books by Marc Brown growing up.  Arthur's friend was named Francine and that gave me the idea to name her Frances.  Sometimes when she is in trouble, I even call her Francine!   

She can be a bit moody and antisocial at times, but I love her all the same!
